Wild Botswana

If you have ever wanted to learn, or improve your wildlife photography, this 9-12day photo safari is the perfect opportunity to acquire new wildlife photography skills under the hand of your tour host and your guide and all in the greatest classroom in the world: Africa!

We specialize in wildlife photography tours in Northern Botswana, from the Chobe river, natural division with Namibia, to the Okavango Delta – Southern Africa’s largest intact eco-system.

These expeditions are entirely self-contained, which is the original style of a "Safari". A very comfortable mobile safari camp travels with you and is erected afresh at each new location.  We hit the best wildlife viewing spots in Botswana (Moremi, Khwai and Savuti) and is guided by an experienced professional guide and hosted by a camp team that take care of every need.

Botswana is also home to the largest continuous Elephant population in Africa and the highest concentration of Elephants on Earth today. It is an exceptional destination to photograph large predators, with strong populations of lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and African wild dog.

With the 3-day optional extension to the Chobe river (before or after the camp), you will have the opportunity to stay at an all-inclusive resort and photograph wildlife from an 8-seater photo boat where everyone has their own seat which rotates 360 degrees and has a camera mount built into the chair. It is an amazing experience to see the elephants cross the river or photograph an African eagle fishing, or my favorite, to photograph wildlife at sunset from the water!

You can also opt to visit Victoria Falls for the day – one of the seven natural wonders of the world. If you decide to do this, you will be picked up in the morning from the resort in an air-conditioned minivan and driven across into Zimbabwe and to the falls. The journey takes around 1.5 hours. You will have time to see The Falls, have some lunch or perhaps take a helicopter flight for an aerial view before heading back across the border to Botswana.
